Maria’s First Impressions of This Country
Maria thinks this country is so different from her own. One thing she notices is that the people smile so much. She wonders what they are smiling about! But she likes it because they look very happy. Maria also likes driving here. In her country, she drives slow, but here she can go fairly fast. There are a lot of police so she has to be careful and not go over the speed limit. The food prices seem pretty cheap, but doesn't think they are as well made as in her country. Finally, this country doesn't feel crowded. She loves the space. She hopes she can travel a lot and really gets to know this country and culture well.
